Friday are Full of Fantastic Fun!

Today was our last full day of Session 6. so we made sure to pack in two of the best activities that we offer at camp: water slides and the talent show! Water slides took place in the morning during pool time! Our camp leaders made sure that every camper reached the top safely, regardless of disability. The looks of pure joy on the face's of the campers when they reach the top of that slide were some of the most amazing moments of camp!

The talent show was a huge success! It was hosted by the wonderful JP and Marlana, but it was the campers who really stole the show! Every single talent showed the individuality of each camper and the entire show was full of laughs!

Thursdays are the Best Days!

Wow, what a day! Thursday started off with us finding out that the kitchen "was closed" until we sang loud enough to open it! After earning our breakfast, we went to the petting zoo, where everyone (including the animals) had fun! It was an amazing experience to see some campers interact and ride horses for the first time ever! After the petting zoo, we went to the pool, and then ate lunch!

After lunch, we started activity time, where we made tote bags in arts and crafts, and did some zumba and freeze dance in music! After a rousing rotation of activities, we went back to the pool for afternoon swim! The pool was the perfect escape from the heat. After the pool we went and showered, followed by dinner. After dinner, we danced and danced and danced until bed time came and we fell asleep peacefully after a long day of fun.

Session 6 Tuesday at the Carnival!

Our first full day of camp is going awesome so far! After a rousing sing a long to get us excited for breakfast, we went to the pool! We splashed and played til lunch! Whether you were playing catch, splashing with water toys, or just lounging on floats, everyone was having fun in the sun!

Wow what a day! After lunch, we went to activity time, where we had P.E., movies, music, and arts and crafts! Today in arts and crafts, we made pop corn bowls! After a "popping" activity time (sorry that was corny) we did some Disney Trivia and ended with an impromptu dance party. Following that, we showered and got ready for dinner and the carnival! The carnival was a huge success, and after many games were won and cotton candy was eaten, we settled into bed to get some sleep before tomorrow!
