Session 6 Movie Monday!

Camp I Am Special Session 6 has officially begun! Today was a full morning of buddy training, where we went over rules and information about the campers, but also made sure we had time for some fun. At buddy training, we broke the ice with an intense game of man hunt and a hilarious synchronized swimming competition!

At 2:00, the campers started arriving, and that is when things got really fun! The buddies and campers instantly bonded, and began engaging in arts and crafts, games of catch, and good old fashioned hide and seek! After all the campers arrived, we had an enthusiastic sing a long, followed by hamburgers and cheeseburgers for dinner! After an exciting first day, campers unwound before bed time by watching a carnival themed movie (Madagascar 3) and eating some yummy popcorn! It was an amazing start to what promises to be one of best weeks yet!
