It's a beautiful morning here at Camp! Here are a few more staff introductions...Meet Ceci!

Ceci M.

 

Ceci attends Florida State University.  She has been a buddy in the past for 4 weeks and has volunteered in the kitchen and doing other tasks around camp for numerous other weeks.  When she's not at camp, Ceci is involved with Best Buddies at FSU.  She has also done mission trips in the past.  Ceci loves "busting a move" as the dance.  Her favorite camp food is pizza.

FUN FACT: Ceci can touch her tongue to her nose!

Zach P.

Zach attends Florida State University.  He has done 3 weeks of camp and three mini-camps before becoming a Group Leader last summer.  Zach is involved with Best Buddies at FSU.  His favorite camp activity is pool time.  His favorite camp food is spaghetti and meatballs.

FUN FACT: Zach is the oldest of 5 children.  He also runs marathons. 

Next up is Sam!

Sam H.

Sam attends Bishop Kenny High School where he will be a senior.  Sam has been volunteering with camp as a buddy for the last three years.  He has done 6 weeks and 2 mini-camps.  This is his first time as a Group Leader.  Sam has worked as a lifeguard at Adventure Landing.  Sam's favorite camp activity is pool time.  His favorite camp food is a pancake breakfast.
FUN FACT: Sam has never been on an airplane!

Meet Stephanie!

Stephanie J.

Stephanie will be attending Rollins College this fall.  She has done three weeks of camp and a mini-camp in the past and this summer will be her first as a Group Leader.  Stephanie has gone on two mission trips and volunteers through the Students for the Poor club at her school.  Stephanie's favorite part of camp is dancing.  Her favorite meal is pasta.
FUN FACT: Stephanie enjoys reading historical fiction novels.

Meet Patrick!

Patrick T.

 

Patrick attends Florida State College of Jacksonville.  He has been a buddy for six weeks and was a Group Leader last summer.  Patrick was involved with the Boy Scouts for five years and is an Eagle Scout.  Patrick's favorite activity at camp is music and yoga time.  His favorite camp meal is a salad from the salad bar.

FUN FACT: Patrick loves oldies music so he can't wait for the 50's theme this summer!

Next up is Kelly!

Kelly B.

Kelly attends the University of North Florida.  She has been a buddy for six weeks and this summer will be her first time Group Leading.  When she's not at camp, Kelly is involved with Best Buddies at UNF and volunteers at Mayo Clinic.  Her favorite part of camp is the talent show because she loves to see each Camper's unique gifts and talents.  Her favorite camp meal is pancakes with lots of syrup.
FUN FACT: Kelly loves to play sports and go to the beach!

We've been so busy getting things geared up for Camp that we forgot to finish introducing you to our wonderful summer staff...Meet Sarah R!

Sarah R.

Sarah attends Florida State University.  She has done seven weeks of camp and this is her first summer as a Group Leader.  Sarah participated in service clubs in the past and has gone on two mission trips.  She also volunteers with the Boys and Girls Club in Tallahassee.  Sarah's favorite camp activity is the dance.  Her favorite camp meal is chicken fingers with macaroni and cheese and green beans.FUN FACT: Sarah can wiggle her ears and touch her tongue to her nose!
